Hello! The other day, I was chatting to colleagues about how much I love December and the build-up to Christmas more than the actual day itself.
The mad rush round the shops, fairy lights, cheesy films, mulled wine, beauty advent calendars (I bought L’Occitane’s this year - fabulous), gifting, and seeing friends and family.
Christmas Day always feels like an anti-climax, especially if you’re celebrating solo, as I will be this year.
We were on our Monday morning call, tying up loose ends on the content strategy project, and Charlotte, who organises everybody, said, “So, the main priority of today’s meeting is to make sure you all have a great Christmas and are happy.”
I thought that was lovely; she’s such a sweetheart. No wonder they’re a happy team.
My manager said she finds December really stressful - the pressure of getting everything done before the holidays and feeling like “there’s never enough time” has spoilt it for her.
